Our friends at Mashable brought to our attention a curious event on Facebook, one that truly demonstrates the power of the social network.  You may have missed the event that Sarah Jane Ellliott  founded on a whim- National Lady Gaga Day was yesterday and more than 108,000 people RSVP’d  as attending with almost 15,000 more “Maybes.”  More than 52,000 said they weren’t attending and another 22,000 have yet to respond. That means that Sarah’s invitation has been sent to almost 200,000 people not to mention all the tweets about it.
